Step 2
Installation Kit

Once you order Verizon High Speed Internet, weʼll send you a self-install kit, then let you know when your service will be ready.

Your kit will be delivered 1-2 days before your service-ready date and will include easy-to- follow instructions, a modem or router, cables, and a phone cord.

If you'll be using your DSL service on the same line as your business phone, your kit will also include filters (or "micro-filters") that plug into your phone jacks to prevent the data and voice signals from interfering with each other.

Step 3
Setup

Once weʼve notified you that your service is ready, you can begin setting it up.

Place filters on all phones, fax machines, and other devices connected to phone jacks. (Skip this step if you donʼt have business phone service).

  • Connect your computer to the modem or router and an electrical outlet.
  • Turn on the modem and wait for the "Internet" light to turn green.
  • Open an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Safari. Online instructions will guide you through setting up your Verizon High Speed Internet account.
  • It's that easy! And you'll find many more details and help in the "Quick Start Guide" that comes with your kit.
