The Verizon Online Backup and Sharing Portal gives you complete control over your online files. You can search for a particular file; move, rename or delete documents; and create new folders—all from your Web browser.
The portal also makes sharing easy. You can even set up special "Gallery" folders that let your friends and family play slide shows, video or audio in their browser windows.
Automating your backups is easy. Just download the Verizon Online Backup and Sharing Software to your computer, run the installer and launch the program. You'll be able to select which files and folders you want to back up, then create a schedule. You can save your data every hour, every day, or any days of the week you choose. Once your done, you won't need to do anything else—the software will start the backups on its own, so you'll always have an up-to-date version of your data.
And restoring your files is easy. Just visit the Verizon Online Backup and Sharing Web Portal and choose the files you want to retrieve. You can have them restored to their original location, or to a new computer or hard disk—it's all under your control.
Have an extra-large document to send out? Instead of slowing down your network with a huge attachment, you can share it from our Web portal. Your colleagues will get an email with your personal message, plus a password-protected, encrypted Web link that will give them access to the file. It's fast, it's easy, and it's extremely secure.
Our online portal makes it easy to share photos, documents or other files. You can browse easily through your uploaded files and click to select the ones you want to share. Then enter the email addresses of the people you want to share them with. (Our online address book makes it easy to save the addresses of your family, friends and colleagues.) Add a personal message, click the "Share" button and you're done.
And even while you're sharing your files, you can keep control. You can protect your shared files from being edited or, if you're collaborating on a document with a colleague, you can authorize him to make edits. You can also set an "expiration date" when your files will no longer be available.
